The Apartamentos Nova Romana are located in the Playa Romana area, to the north of Alcossebre (Alcocebre / Alcoceber), about 300 metres from the beach and roughly one kilometre from the town centre. It is a residential, quiet part of town, and that is precisely its appeal: it is one of the calmest corners of Alcossebre, ideal for families with young children.
Gardens, pool and quiet
The complex has gardens and a swimming pool, and guests consistently highlight the tranquillity of the setting. Being set slightly back from the seafront and away from the centre, Nova Romana avoids the night-time noise that affects the most central buildings, which makes for genuinely restful nights.

Playa Romana is a wide sandy beach with a calm, residential feel, very well suited to families. Getting there from Nova Romana takes a three or four-minute walk. It is a beach where children can play with ease and where there is far less crowding than on the town's central beaches, with a pleasant seafront promenade for an evening stroll.

What guests praise most is "the peace and quiet of the place and the proximity to the beach", along with the well-kept pool. The most common criticism, shared with other apartments in the area, relates to the mattresses and sofa beds, so it is worth checking the sleeping arrangements before you book.
Surroundings and what to do
The Playa Romana area is quiet but not isolated: there are shops and restaurants nearby, and the centre of Alcossebre is about a kilometre away, an easy walk or a very short drive. From here you can also reach the Sierra de Irta Natural Park and its coves, and the Las Fuentes Marina, with its seaside restaurants and water sports.
Who it suits and booking tips
Nova Romana is a good choice if you prioritise calm, space and a pool over having everything on your doorstep. Families with small children are its natural guests. For July and August, book in advance; in June and September prices drop and the beach is far less crowded.
